$10 tickets available Every Day
Among the most expected musicals to pay a visit to Atlanta in years kicked off its own three-week run in the Fox Theatre Tuesday night.
“Hamilton” tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers of America. It debuted in 2015, immediately transitioned to Broadway and won a number of Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It took home a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
Tickets to the series of shows at the Fox Theatre offered fast, but there is still a chance to find the display for $10.
Two days before each performance, there is a lottery for a restricted amount of 10 tickets to watch the musical.
The lottery opens at 11 a.m., two weeks before the performance and closes in 9 pm the afternoon before the performance.
Winners will be notified via text or e-mail around 11 a.m. daily before the show and also will have about five hours to buy the tickets.
Winners must pick up their tickets at the box office with a valid photo ID that matches the title attracted.
There’s a limit of one entry per individual and every winner could buy two tickets.
The electronic lottery is randomized and the purchase price of entry doesn’t have any impact on your odds of winning.
A couple of routinely priced seats to every show could be available, also. These are seats that are introduced near the performance that wasn’t offered for one reason or another.
